My first project for my portfolio is my E-Pub from InDesign that I did in 2017. I was a little rusty when it came to InDesign, but thankfully it was like riding a bike and I quickly managed to remember how to use it. The difference in then and now is, I knew Illustrator this go around and I was able to do more with that versus when I took the class.
First draft of E-Pub (2017)
I needed to change the font, color, and overall title board of the e-pub, as well as fix the spacing and design of the paragraphs of the information of the wines.

The color scheme I went originally was darker -- like a red wine type color scheme and a little too much in terms of font selection (It's way too fancy)

In this updated version, I did a lighter color gradient versus that overly dramatic, in your face, dark purple mood. Sure, wine can be dramatic, but I feel this is more welcoming. I may change it to a lighter gradient..time will tell.
I also created an Icon to go with the title screen versus the photo of a wine bottle. and used the font Baskerville in a regular and semi-bold for the title.

The font! ACK! What was I thinking!? That was the first thing to go in all of these. I also edited the photo (right) in photoshop to make it less yellowy. The wine bottle (bottom left) animates and I actually still love that. Fixed the paragraph layout and some of the wording and I called it good.

Edit/February
Went back to the original layout, edited the wine bottle from the title screen, removed bullets, and enhanced the links folder with buttons you can roll over.
